What this website collects
Anonymous reactions: when you tap a reaction or choose who you are on the homepage, we record only those choices, linked to a random identifier stored in a cookie on your device. We do not record your name, email address or any free text.
Forms: when you send a nomination, partner enquiry, contact message or application, the information you type is sent to the Nirīkṣayā team by email.
What we do not do
We do not store form submissions in a database on this website.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information.
We never publish a student's name, photo, school or story without the written consent of the student and their guardian.
Students and guardians
Applications concern students under 18, so they require a guardian's consent. Guardian contact details are used only to contact the family about the application.
Financial information is requested separately, later in selection, and only from families of shortlisted students.
How long we keep information
Submissions are kept only as long as needed for selection, partnership or answering your message, and are then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete any information you have sent us. Use the contact page to make a request.
